So I am now back from my weekend away. Well I was on Monday but was trying to recover from 4 days withouth cell reception and kids, lots of kids. so here is a run down of how it went
Friday - we arrive, little awkward since me and the in-laws see things differently, like I see how much I love their son and they see me as a crappy person who is trying to steal him lol...anyway not too bad not alot of convo the kids are all playing since it was my two and their two cousin who btw all 4 are very close in age. dinner of pizza kids up in late in bed...me sitting there feeling awkward
Saturday - off to park with everyone that was alright tons of pics taken..including mine (gag I hate being photographed) back to house lunch and nap time for little ones big ones off to anuties house..me and hubby run into town since our visit was cut short we didn't get to have our date night which I was very much looking forward to (only reason I went willingingly) so we had a mini date grabbed easter stuff, small lunch and of course my booze for the night.
dinner, yup started drinking already...more outside time for kids, inside for baths and bed. and then break out the board games woot, a quick trivia game cuz that makes sense with people who have been drinking. and then of course rumoli...and more booze of course. we all got talkative that was nice.
sunday - easter egg hunt for everyone kids cleaned up, back to house for a great turkey dinner my mother in law makes the best stuffing, and for someone who loves to cook that is a very hard thing to say.
monday home.
that was pretty much my time away..oh cept i forgot to mention the sex in the woods, yup we went for a small walk up their driveway which is pretty much all forest and got it on...probably my favorite part of the trip, if you haven't tried it yet do it.

Home again home again
Well we are back from our weekend visiting the in-laws, and the big egg hunt...honestly it wasn't too bad, I think in my head I built it up to be alot worse which I have a habit of doing. Well and of course a few drinks helped out alot.
The kids had fun got alot of candy and chocolate which is great for me since I am sure the evil Flow will begin soon so I will need the chocolate. Although travelling in a car with two kids not fun. they whined they cried they didn't sleep which is what I was hoping. But they had fun with their cousins. I will do another blog later but I'm still exhausted and trying to down as much as coffee as possible to wake up lol.

Part Three...(shoppers drug mart)
For this one I am going to talk a little bit about Shoppers Drug Mart, a love hate thing. Mainly because this saturday they are doing another 20x point event, which as an optimum collector is a happy dance type thing. so here it goes well I am still learning a little bit but I will share what I know
When you have an Optimum card you get 10 points for every dollar you spend, throughout the store they have products with bonus point options so like 10x bp (bonus points) so say something costs 5.99 normally you would get 59 points for that but with the bp option you would receive 119 points. yay. so now on 20x days granted you have to spend $50 to get the points (but that is before coupons I will explain that in a minute) so normally you would get 500 points when you spend 50 dollars but on 20x days it would be 10,000 (since you get 500 base points and the 20x is a bonus deal they do, it works out to be more like 30x) and then if you get products with bonus point options rack them up even more.
confused? ya it can take a while to learn lol. ok so now comes the awesome part, when you do events like that, you total has to be 50 before taxes blah blah, BUT you can bring your total down with coupons, now you will probably get a cashier say "you won't get the bonus point if you use coupons" just smile and reply that's ok I don't care...because it is not up to them it is automatically done, so even bringing the total down (I will give an example) you will still get the points. now here is an example list, (actually it's my first draft for this saturday)
2x Royale Toilet paper 5.99 each = 11.98 - 2 coupons = 9.98
2x Tide 5.99 each = 11.98 - 5 when you buy 2 = 6.98
6x Royale facial tissue .77 each = 4.62- 1= 3.62
2x Olay body wash 3.99 each = 7.98 - 5 = 2.98
1x Loreal expertise 5.99 each = 5.99 (plus has 10x bp..so 119 off this one) - 1.50 = 4.49
2x Colgate sensitive pro relief toothpaste 3.99 each = 7.98 (plus 10x bp) - 6 = 1.98
ok so my total before coupons is 50.53 getting me to the 20x points thing so yay then with my coupons
($20 worht) my OOP (out of pocket) will only be 30.53. not too bad for a first draft lol
oh and before you shop, buy a shoppers gift card for the amount you are thinking of spending because you also get points when you buy the gift card, so it's like doubling your points. Ok I think that is enough for now as it can be alot to take in lol, any questions just comment of send me a FB msg and I will walk you through, well as well as I can.

Coupon part two.
Alright here we go with part two of the series for those interested in learning coupons. Today I will talk about learning store policies and how to stand your ground, among a couple other things.
Alright so on the smart canucks website you can find a copy of pretty much every stores coupon policy, print them out and carry them in your binder, that way if a cashier/ manager try to fight you, pull it out and show them, do NOT be afraid to hold up a line for it, simply remind the cashier first the store is getting re imbursed for the product, and if the coupon is higher than the price, remind them they CAN price adjust the coupon. I am pointing these out because a friend of mine had a horrible experience at RCSS (superstore) recently where they fought her because she would be getting the product for .49 cents. and everyone should follow her blog to check out the little deal demon you can find it under blogs I follow :)
Ok so yes print out the policies and if they still fight you then just take back your coupons and remind them are many stores out there who would love you business and you will be going there. If people in line behind you say something, just gladly say something like "I can't believe you are paying full price"
alright I will continue part two in a bit, time to make some lunch.

introduction to coupons
Ok so I have had a few people ask me for my secrets to couponing and getting a good deal, figured I would start blogging some tips and things so everyone can see it, and I'm not messaging like 10 ppl the same thing lol. So here we go with part 1
Getting Started
First thing is find yourself a good binder, zipper ones with pockets are awesome for staying organized, followed by a mini calculator ($2.49 at RCSS) and some Baseball card protector things boys toy section at WM you get about 35 of them for 8 bucks. couple of pens.
Next you can start asking neighbors for their unused coupon inserts, do some recycle walks, have a look whenever you are out shopping for new coups. best place to get a few starters are here.... www.brandsaver.ca WebsaverSave.ca Go coupons.... no even if you think you won't use some order them, you can always trade them for ones you will use. or in my case I can put together a starter kit for you. If I have enough people interested I may ask a small fee to cover some costs.
Next I would get some store member cards, or things like Airmiles, Aeroplan etc. one of the best ones is a Shopper's Optimum Card but that will be a whole new subject later.
Now start out small, it can be a lot to take in even I am still learning the ropes. When shopping through RCSS always look for pink stickers in other words 50% off items, that gets better when you realize you have a coup for it, like yesterday I got 6 things of 50% off gillette hair products and used $15 dollars worth of coups so FREE.
When shopping anywhere look for clearence items, such a deal, if you can get out without kids and or hubby's do it, take your time browse price things in your head, is it a good deal, do you need it or can it wait til it's on sale. Things like that. Ok I am going to post a link to some abbriviations we use in the coupon world so you can understand lol. so check these out so maybe my posts will be a little less confusing lol
Common Coupon Abbv.
alright everyone until next time. have fun. oh and feel free to send me a msg or comment with questions.

My life with a mental illness part two.
So here I am what a few hours after my last post and I am sitting here just about ready to scream, throw things throw my relationship out the window and why, because I saw some stupid little comment he made on some strangers picture calling her cute or something, and I am just so out of control right now I want to cry which I just might do, why does he feel the need to make comments like that to some skiny little thing, something that obviously I'm not and will never be, maybe if I was he wouldn't feel the need to make comments like that to other people, why am I not good enough, is he always looking at other girls, flirting with them at work, how far has it gone? has he come home late once or twice because the flirting went farther. Am I really that hideous? I must be if he feels the need to do that, to look at other girls, if he wants to look at them then why doesn't he just leave me already so he can go and flirt with and sleep with those nasty things I am sure he's thought about it, he probably thinks about it all the time...I am worthless and useless and I'm not worthy nor do I deserve him or happiness I mean obviously I can't keep him happy if his eyes are wandering.
And this is the kind of crazy that I deal with all the time, over the tiniest things, you would think writing it out would help but nope still I sit here upset.
